چکیده

In our quest for a simple and fast method to detect glucose in wines, a redox polymer (RP)-based amperometric biosensor was developed. The biosensor consists of glucose oxidase and horseradish peroxidase (as recognition tandem), an Os-based RP (as electron transfer mediator), poly(ethylene glycol) diglycidyl ether (as cross-linking agent), and a graphite electrode (as transducer). Each building block of the biosensor was carefully investigated. First, the electrochemical behaviour of the surface immobilized Osbased RP was investigated. Peroxidaseand RP-containing layers were subsequently studied using normal pulse voltammetry (NPV). Finally, glucose oxidase was also added to the sensing layer, and the obtained sensor was calibrated and used to detect glucose in wine. The obtained values agree well with concentrations reported by the producer.

An amperometric biosensor for glucose based on electrodeposited redox polymer/glucose oxidase film on a gold electrode.

In this paper, we described a glucose biosensor based on the co-electrodeposition of a poly(vinylimidazole) complex of [Os(bpy)2Cl](+/2+) (PVI-Os) and glucose oxidase (GOX) on a gold electrode surface. The one-step co-electrodeposition method provided a better control on the sensor construction, especially when it was applied to microsensor construction. The modified electrode exhibited the cla...

Ferrocene-Functionalized 4-(2,5-Di(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)aniline: A Novel Design in Conducting Polymer-Based Electrochemical Biosensors

Herein, we report a novel ferrocenyldithiophosphonate functional conducting polymer and its use as an immobilization matrix in amperometric biosensor applications. Initially, 4-(2,5-di(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)amidoferrocenyldithiophosphonate was synthesized and copolymerized with 4-(2,5-di(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)benzenamine at graphite electrodes. The amino groups on the polymer we...

A biosensor prepared by co-entrapment of a glucose oxidase and a carbon nanotube within an electrochemically deposited redox polymer multilayer.

A glucose biosensor based on a nanocomposite made by layer-by-layer electrodeposition of the redox polymer into a multilayer containing glucose oxidase (GOx) and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) on a screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE) surface was developed. The objectives of the electrodeposition of redox polymer are to stabilize further the multilayer using a coordinative cross-linke...
